Past a dim side street, down a back alley, inside a loading dock, there’s an elevator. If you’re curious enough to go there, you’ll be rewarded with Stockholms most secret art gallery.
The art elevator is an art gallery in Stockholm facilitated by PWC. Up and coming artists (up and coming, elevator, pun intended) get to paint or hang their works in and around the elevator, and anyone is welcome to visit.
Every fourth month, a new up and coming artist is invited to paint, sculpture, add, turn upside-down, blow up, whatever, The art elevator in any way they want.
A gallery is only bricks and paint if no one knows that it exists. So The Art Elevator is accompanied by short stories and portraits about the artists while piggybacking a local event called Art Night.
