Welcome to Space

In 2015, a travelling office was born in a green Stockholm suburb. An office that was free to use by anyone ambitious enough to try and make a change for everyone.

An office where you pay for the rent with green ideas, instead of cash. 💸

Creative Space was a workspace created for The Absolut Company to spearhead their creative sustainability efforts through crowdsourcing and collaboration.

We designed it from repurposed old Absolut shipping containers, and generously equipped it with everything from 3d-printers to food, free of charge, as long as the tenants spent their time there working on sustainable projects.

Creative space housed green entrepreneurs and their pet-projects from all over Europe.

From new bottle designs aimed at reducing unusable space in freight containers…

Besides being an office, Creative space hosted everything from hackathons and live bands…

Schedules, interviews, DIY tutorials, etc, were available online for those who wanted more or simply couldn’t come.

To build Creative Space, the most logical decision was to repurpose some of Absolut Company’s old retired shipping containers. This also made it mobile enough, that Creative space could be sent to different places for different audiences.
